Why worry over your bottlenecks."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Think for a minute whether there is any process or person that could be classed as the eye of the needle in your organization.\u00a0 Is there anything, \u00a0process or person, that stalls the flow of work from start to finish?<\/p>\n<p>A CEO once told me that she was \u2018the eye of the needle\u2019 in her organization, purposely\u00a0controlling quality of service and making sure all of her direct reports let her know of each\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2718 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/berkonomics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Bottleneck-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"A businessman trapped inside a bottle trying to crawl out through the neck with his partner pulling on the cork from the outside\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><\/p>\n<p>decision and action they undertook.\u00a0 Her intentions were pure and admirable.
