In the current society all forms of property rights are under attack by those claiming to represent the interests of those having fewer assets.

As intellectual property can be transferred, I suggest there is an opportunity for some attorneys, and perhaps others, to create an IP Benefit Association (IPBA), to which IP was transferred on a conditional basis of benefit sharing. The terms could include a requirement of possible benefit within an agreed period.
