And it’s hard to shake the baggage of existing relationships and alliances we create over the years. I recall thinking how I, as a new CEO, would do things differently (and better) – but if I were the one to implement those changes now, I’d lose the trust of my team and possibly hurt the overall culture. Was I too myopic, soft, or fearful – or was I sensitive and realistic?
